Welcome!

The Chief Marketing Office serves as the central hub for State marketing activity and is the “steward of the Vermont brand.” Our mission is to support State entities with outreach and marketing activities. We can help ensure you’ve got the right branding, assist with contracting for marketing services, provide or connect you with creative services to make the most of your budget, and host marketing workshops, training, or coaching sessions.

If you’re a state employee new to marketing, or new to state government, and you have marketing responsibility, we can help. So let’s get started!

To request assistance or schedule a coaching session, email: Marketing@vermont.gov

    State of Vermont Brand Management

There are hundreds of agencies, departments, boards, commissions, programs, and divisions within the State of Vermont. Our job includes ensuring the State has a consistent visual identity. Presenting our materials with a common and consistent look and feel reinforces the Vermont brand and allows the public to immediately recognize State of Vermont communications. We're here to work with you to maintain the Vermont brand.

    We can help you:

    • Use the correct logos in a campaign
    • Print stationery materials like business cards and letterhead
    • Use the State of Vermont color palette
    • Find branded templates for reports and 1-pagers
    • Make your communication materials accessible

Accessibility (for Marketing and Creative Services)

We can help you make your marketing materials accessible to people with disabilities. We have assembled Best Practices, Template Resources with step-by-step editing instructions, developed a Language Access Guidance Summary, and assembled a list of Employee Resources to learn more about accessible communications.
